Blown Away

STRONG WIND BREAKS WOMAN'S LEGS AND SHE IS BLOWN OUT TO SEA!!!

Nah... not really. I was not REALLY blown out to sea. But what if I had been!!? I could have been. It was THAT windy today. Don't ask how the results in the above photo were achieved because I have no idea what I was doin' there, how I ended up looking like that.

We braved the weather and went for a very cold and wild walk out on the headlands. It pretty much resulted in a bunch of pictures of me in various wind induced poses.

The waves were just fantastic to watch rolling in and crashing on the rocks. I checked with the NWS when we got home and they were coming in with swells up to 12 feet! I wish I had our little video camera when we were out there. I need to be better about remembering to bring it on all our walks. We were shooting in to the late afternoon sun but we did manage to grab a few shots of the gorgeous hues of blue in the waves...



Whew! Hopefully the weather calms down a bit for the rest of the weekend so we can get out and walk about without it being such a rattling experience.
