Beautiful Day!

Finally after a few days of rain the weather cleared up and today was just ridiculously beautiful.

Rudy and I left Billy at home painting and we went for a morning walk out on the headlands. Upon arrival on the trail head we were greeted with this simple yet brilliant visual...




Since Rudy had not been out in four days he was like a rabid lunatic running wild. We walked every trail and ran up and down the cliffs to each beach. The flowers are really fabulous and add so much zing to the scenery. But not nearly so much zing as is brought to this photo by Rudy's butt hole which he featured for you in the center of the shot along with his scowling face. He is truly a force of evil set loose upon the world.



Every time I ventured down a trail and tried to sit for a minute and enjoy the view I was dealing with this impatient person... telling me to COME ON! HURRY UP!



Yeah, yeah... so I hurried along the trail with him so he can soak the world in his pee and snort and fart his way along like a little greased pig.

In spite of all this I grabbed a few images to share with you the absolute perfection of the day...

These are Douglas Iris growing wild out on the flat open fields of the headlands...


The water was so blue today it looks almost fake in these pics... but listen up YO... it's real.




After awhile we came home a grabbed Billy and went back down so he could soak it up a bit too. We may try to go out and set up painting out on the cliffs somewhere this weekend if the weather holds.

Tonight I really created some problems by making a batch of THIS....

Oh... There's one more thing I wanted to share that I am pretty excited about. I have finally captured on camera the exact moment when Rudy emerges from under the covers in the morning that always makes us laugh ourselves silly. We call the look "Salvador Doo Doo!" because he looks like he is sportin' a Salvador Dali style moustachio... tres chic!



Of course moments later he descends into his normal pissy face mode that will endure through much of the remainder of the day...
